Public Service Comission: Punkin Water falls under the jurisdiction of the Public Service Commission - Northern District. 
 
USDA Rural Development: Punkin Water is also governed by the Rural Development division of USDA, specifically Area 5. Michael Perry is the Rural Development Directors for Area 5.
 
Mississippi Department of Health, Bureau of Public Water Supply: Water quality is tested and governed by the Mississippi State Department of Health, Bureau of Public Water Supply with Director Bill Moody (william.moody@msdh.state.ms.us).
